Around the world and through the decades, people have shared the global struggle for gender equality. Regardless of age, country, background or gender, the fight for equal rights has collectively defined lives. That is what the United Nations says. This statement is, however, public relations language. Forget about it.

So what's the real thing?

It is education at home. Small, simple, everyday acts that will define you. You cannot correct your gender sensitivity settings with grand statements and big shows if you still behave stupid with those at home, at work, at other public places in small, insignificant ways. So there it is, the biggest yet the simplest lesson.
